At Midland Evangelical Free Church we want you to serve in an area of ministry that best fits your unique gifts, passions, abilities, personality and experiences. The following is a list of ministries at Midland Free and some of the serving opportunities associated with each. Choose a ministry area and serving opportunity that interests you and donít worry if your first choice isnít a perfect fit. If you try it and it doesnít fit, weíll work with you to find a place where you can engage your  gifts, passions, experiences, and abilities.

The Sportsmen's Banquet

We will need well over 50 volunteers to pull off another great banquet this year. There are many great opportunities to serve from set up and decoration before the event to serving and cleaning up tables. Sign up in the lobby to volunteer or online.  >>Link to volunteer

Mom's Night Out

North Midland Family Center
Friday, Feb 13, 5:30 pm

We are looking for Life Groups, DGs, or individuals to help bless 25 single and hard working moms in the NMFC area. Please consider volunteering the night of the event, making up a "Gift" basket or provide items for the team to assemble. Think of items for the basket a woman might not otherwise buy for herself. Be creative! Suggested items include: Gift cards for gas, local restaurants or the Menu Manager; shampoo, lotions or shower gel; scented candles, teas or specialty coffee, manicure supplies, nail polish, current women's magazines, cold weather items like hats, mittens or scarves; unique and fun food items like Tastefully Simple or soup mixes. Pick up a tag at the GoLocal Board, and return items or gift baskets by Sun, Feb 8. To volunteer or for questions email Bev Steel at

Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt is Going Local at Grove Park!

Come and build a new friendship on Sat., Apr 4, at 11:00 am at Grove Park. Hereís how you can help:

  • Donate small, wrapped pieces of candy.
  • Help us place a door hanger flyer on each door in the Grove Park neighborhood on Sunday, March 29.
  • Help on the day of the Easter Egg Hunt (Sat, Apr 4).

Royal Family Kids' Camp

Spring hasnít arrived yet, but plans are being made for Royal Family Kidsí Camp. Midland Free sponsors Camp in JulyóJuly 24-29. You can make camp possible for another camper by being involved this year! More than 100 volunteers from Midland Free participate. Please consider being part of camp.
