Cold Weather Gear for Kids

Cold Weather Gear for Children at North Midland Family Center

Brrr, it gets cold outside in Michigan in the winter. Help the children at The North Midland Family Center say warm this winter. Provide a NEWcoat, hat, gloves and boots. Please pick up a tag at the GoLocal display in the south lobby and return the items by Sunday, December 7, after the second service. No need to wrap the items. Please place the items in a bag and adhere the tag to the bag so

GoLocal is seeking volunteers to help at the North Midland Family Christmas Party at 2601 E. Shearer Road, Midland. Stop by the GoLocal Center in the south lobby and pick up a volunteer reminder card and let us know you are coming.

Bless a family with Christmas Dinner this year! We are hoping to provide 150 families with a Christmas dinner this year. Monies are due by Sunday, December 7, after the second service.

Adopt a Family

You have the opportunity this Christmas to adopt one of ten families from Carpenter School, which is in the Grove Park area of Midland. You are able to purchase gifts and deliver them personally to the family or deliver them to the school.

A Christmas wish list will be provided the week of November 24, just in time for the big Friday sales. Stop by the large display in the center lobby today and sign up for a family.

All we need from you are a few details:

  • Your email address to give you the family wish list and information.
  • The family size you wish to adopt from three to eight persons.

Gift drop-off date is Friday, December 19 at Carpenter School or you can coordinate directly with the family to deliver the gifts in person.
