Midland Evangelical Free Church is Launching a Partnership with World Visions to Address Global Poverty
For a few years now, in obedience to Jesus’ call, Midland Free has been interested in adding a partnership to address global poverty. This search has led us to enter into a partnership with World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization that works with “children, families, and their communities worldwide to help them reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.” In particular, we have chosen to work in the Gulu District in the African country of Uganda. >>more
Global Missions Outreach at Midland Free focuses on four areas of global outreach:
- Malay Adopted Unreached People Group – Sending workers and partnering with others to establish healthy indigenous churches among the Malay of Peninsular Malaysia.
- Tatar Adopted Unreached People Group – Sending workers and partnering with others to establish healthy indigenous churches among the Tatar of Tatarstan.
- TEAM GULU Partnership – Partnering with World Vision for global compassionate care in the Gulu district of Uganda, Africa.
- Sending Our Own – Sending our best to serve in full-time, cross-cultural missions, with a goal of 20 x 2020.
Midland Free has a community outreach ministry that supports local organizations who are like-minded in the vision of reaching those in the mid-Michigan area with the Gospel of Christ.
