We strive to maintain a healthy, clean, and safe environment for your child, as well as for each person volunteering. We would appreciate your assistance in helping us achieve this goal, by observing the following ...

Well Child Policy

Midland Free operates a well child program and cannot accept a child with: A fever of more than 100ºF within the past 24 hours, persistent or heavy cough, green runny nose, sore throat (if redness or white spots or fever accompanies it), stomachaches accompanied by vomiting or diarrhea, contagious rash of any type.

Security System

For the safety of your children, we have a security ID program. Upon signing your child in, he or she will be assigned a number and will have a tag with that number placed on the back of the child's clothing. A corresponding numbered Claim Tag is given to the parent. This tag MUST be presented when picking up your child.

Paging Parents

If you are needed during Worship Service, the number on your tag will appear on a screen to the right and left of the front stage. At that time, you should leave the auditorium to care for your child. If you attend a Small Church, please indicate the room number/location on the nursery sign-in sheet.

Picking Up Children

When returning to pick up your child, the nursery staff will require that you return your Claim Tag with the same number as indicated on the child's nametag. Note the location for pick-up before leaving your child.

Emergency Information, Identification and Sanitation

Emergency Information

Please fill out the information card for each of your children. This will provide the teachers important information about your child including any allergies, medical conditions, etc.

Identification of Personal Items

To minimize lost items and to make sure your child goes home with their own belongings, please put your child's name on all their personal items, such as bottles, cups, bibs, diapers, coats, etc. Personal snacks are discouraged, unless your child has severe allergies.

Sanitation

The health and well-being of your child is very important to us. The toys, beds, and equipment are cleaned each week. Linens are changed and washed after each use. All toys are carefully selected to ensure proper safety for the children.
