Mommy and Me

Program objectives

  • To teach our children about God through activities, stories, songs, creative play, and Christ-centered friendships
  • To provide an informal network that will encourage and equip Midland Free moms of preschoolers

Who is this for?

Mommy and Me is a semi-structured co-operative ministry for Midland Free moms and their preschooler(s) from 2 to 5 years of age. Infants and toddlers are welcome to join their older sibling(s) and mom.

What do we do?

Time together consists of story, craft, free play, snack, and song time. Each day has a theme, which is carried through all parts of the morning and shows the children God's presence and influence in every aspect of life.

Our intent is for each child to have focused attention from his/her mom and to interact with other children. In addition, the mothers have the opportunity to develop relationships with each other.

Cooperative

Each mom participates by providing a craft and set-up for one day of the session, as well as snack and clean up for one day of the session.

What is the cost?

A fee of $10 per family (not per child) is charged to cover the cost of supplies.

How do I enroll?

Contact Sheila Loomis at 989.631,4411, Ext. 1013 or shelialoomis@mefchurch.org.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.
