Life Groups are the primary way to connect and build friendships at Midland Free. Groups meet every week in homes to dig deeper into their faith, encourage each other, pray for each other, and grow in their relationship with God and one another.

Life Group signups take place three times per year. Sign up now for a Life Group in March. A new cycle of Life Groups will start on April 4 for 7 weeks. The current life groups page shows what groups currently exist. Click on a leader's name for more information about their group.

A Life Group is a group of 10-16 people who gather every week in a home to explore questions about life and faith raised by the Sunday sermon. But more than that, it’s a place to develop friendships that are more than just a “good morning” exchanged during the Sunday service. Life Groups are a place for you to connect on a deeper level, to be encouraged and grow spiritually – for others to know you by name and hash out some of the questions about Christianity and the Bible. Following Jesus is not meant to be done in isolation—God meant for us to do life together.

In a Life Group, you will be led through a discussion of the previous Sunday’s sermon. There is no book to read ahead of time; discussion is focused on what all have heard on Sunday morning and with others you will look more closely at some of the issues raised. You will pray together and just chat about life. Life Groups are a great place for you to make a connection and make some friends. We want you to find the right fit. Are you interested in a group for:

• Families

• Mixed

The third cycle of Life Groups begins the week of April 4 and meets for 7 weeks—each gathering lasts anywhere from 1 ½ to 2 hours; it is up to each group to decide. After the third cycle, Life Groups will break for the summer. If after a cycle, you feel like trying a different group because you just aren’t clicking, that’s okay. By all means, keep looking. We want to help you find a Life Group that is just the fit for you. You may make lifelong friendships, or you might just find friends for this season of your life. You’ve got to start some time.
