Then Interwoven Hearts, a ministry that facilitates spiritual mentoring relationships among women, is for you! 

Mentoring Opportunities

  • One-on-one mentoring relationship

  • A small group study

  • Apprentice program to train future leaders by joining a small group and being trained by the small group leader

Mission Statement

To connect women at Midland Free and encourage spiritual growth with the goal of “making, maturing and mulitiplying” disciples of Christ. Our mission is based on Matthew 28:19a where Jesus commands us to “go and make disciples” and Titus 2:3-5, which calls upon older women to teach younger women.

What is a mentoring relationship?

  • One person helps another apply Biblical principles to a certain spiritual or life issue
  • Women who God has matured in a certain area of life are matched with women who desire to grow in that same area

Mentoring Topics

  • Prayer
  • Reverence for God
  • Quiet times with God
  • Marriage
  • Parenting
  • Juggling career and home life
  • Variety of "life issues"

Small Group Study

  • Groups of 2-3 women are available
  • The group is led by a mature Christian woman
  • The leader helps the participants to grow spiritually through studying the Bible
  • the focus is on an individual growing in her relationship with God and the knowledge of the Lord through prayer and Bible study

What if I am not ready to lead?

  • Sign up as an apprentice
  • Trained, more seasoned woman will guide and teach an apprentice by example in a small group setting
  • She will coach and encourage
  • The apprentice can lead the group when ready
