The lighting and production ministry is made up of people who are trained in lighting the stage area. They program and run the equipment for services and other special events.

The goal of the lighting and production ministry is to enhance the events taking place and people on stage and to direct the congregation's attention to particular areas on the stage or within the auditorium.

The lighting and production team must plan a lighting program according to a service flow in association with the direction of the Worship Arts Pastor. The team will be given a flow sheet of the service order and events taking place on stage and the team will aim, gel, and program the lights to correspond with the service of worship.

Lights must be programmed by the time the worship team rehearses. All service components such as music, media and sound will be rehearsed for the service occurring on Sunday.

This ministry is "behind the scenes" service oriented. Some technical skill is helpful, though not required. Experience in theatre or production is helpful. Training will be provided on an on-going basis.
