About Children's Sunday School

Midland Free offers nursery for children infant - 2 years of age and Sunday School for children in Preschool, Pre-kindergarten, and Kindergarten through 5th grade during:
1st service - 9:00 - 10:45 am
2nd service - 10:45 am - noon

Nursery

Our goal is to provide a safe and loving environment. Our team members serve to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of children by praying for, holding, feeding, playing and providiing age-appropriate lessons.

Preschool/PreK

Preschool/PreK is an activie environment in which children experience hands-on activities in large and small group settings during each service. Children sing, hear God-centered Bible stories, play and make a craft to take home. It is a BLAST!

Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Midland Free offers Sunday School classes during both worship services for children kindergarten through 5th grade. Our vision is a ministry that seeks to reach children for Christ by providing a welcoming and loving environment.

Sunday School classes use structured, age-appropriate lessons that impart to children a vision of God, who He is and who we are in relationship to Him. This establishes a foundation of doctrine and truth. Our desire is to see children biblically grounded, seeing God as the hero of every story, with a God-centered worldview and a faith that stands firm.

Sunday School partners with parents in their God-given role as spiritual nurturers. We encourage parental involvement in the classroom and provide a Parent Resource Page for every lesson that allows parents to interact with their children on Scripture and lesson content.

We provide programs for children ages newborn through toddler, during our Sunday morning services, small churches, and Wednesday evening adult class hours.

We have 5 areas to best meet the needs of your child:


  • Lambs: 0-6 months, Room 100

  • Bunnies: 6-12 months, Room 102

  • Giraffes:  12-24 months, Room 105

  • Ducks: 12-24 months, Room 112

  • Lions: 2 years, Room 103

  • Bear Den:  Room 107
