Small Groups are an essential ingredient of spiritual growth at Midland Free. They are to help individuals become vibrant Christians who worship, love, grow, serve, and share. They are ideal for those who want to grow and study together.

Transformed Lives

Lives are transformed by:

  • Encouraging whole life worship.
  • Studying and applying God's Word in an interactive small group setting.
  • Praying, encouraging and loving each other in authentic community.
  • Learning to serve and share together.

Small Groups are designed to experience the love, fellowship and joy of the LORD in the midst of our daily lives.

Small Group Facts

  • Are committed to each other
  • Are open to couples and singles
  • Typically include 8-12 people
  • Meet in group member's homes 2-4 times/month

Small Group gatherings include:

  • Fellowship and friendship
  • Focus on biblical truth and application
  • Confidential prayer for each other
  • Praise and worship
  • Social and family activites
  • Service and sharing projects
  • Evangelism/Outreach

Mission

Small Groups exist to help individuals mature in Christ and connect with other believers.

The mission of the Small Groups Ministry is "life change," leading to spiritual maturity in Christ. "Life change" is a core value of Midland Free and happens best through discipleship, Bible study, mentoring, accountability and love in friendships with other believers.
