REAL - "living Christ-centered lives
for the rest of our lives"

A key environment to REAL is Sunday Morning Small Church. During the second church service the REAL community meets for an hour of interactive teaching, discussion, and prayer. This is an environment designed to truly engage the mind and heart as we explore how the reality of God revealed in the Scriptures intersects with our 21st century culture and struggles of young adulthood.

So you’ve graduated from high school, or maybe college, and you’re trying to figure life out – what direction to go in, who you really are deep down, what to do with the rest of your life. And hopefully you’ve begun to wrestle with even deeper questions.

• What is life really all about?
• Is Christianity really the True religion?
• Will God forgive me for the choices I’ve made or help me with my doubts?
• What would it be like to really give my whole life to Jesus and live for Him?

These are good questions to wrestle with, but not by yourself! The answers to the deepest questions in life aren’t experienced by reading a book, taking a class or even by "going to church." The answers are experienced in a community. And we sincerely hope that REAL is a community where you can honestly seek and find answers in Jesus Christ. REAL is:

• A community of young adults (18-30) discovering life in God, living in sincerity and honesty with one another, developing real friendships of encouragement and support, and practicing the radical kind of love that Christ lived and taught us. Since we like to hang out and have fun, there are planned and spontaneous get-togethers.
• A ministry used by God to help us undergo authentic, lasting transformation – from the inside out. We are passionate about exploring the Truth found in the Scriptures, learning to experience God through prayer and worship and allowing God transform the broken and calloused parts within us.
• A time of preparation in which we taste the joy of serving God and get ready to spend the rest of our lives living for his mission. That implies hands-on training. REAL places a high priority on helping you find the right place to serve within REAL so you can develop the gifts and abilities God has given you. A small network of mature, older mentors encourages, inspires and equips you for the journey.

REAL isn’t a program. It’s a community of young adults seeking to live and help others live Christ-centered lives for the rest of our lives!
