Hear what the Bible has to say about Intentional Evangelism during the week. Jesus has something to say about who He is. Who do you say that He is?

October 13

Read John 5:1-15 – Discuss with your family if you think that our culture is like this man at the pool – a nation of people waiting hopelessly for something to happen. What did Jesus reveal about who He is in verse 14?

October 14

Read John 5:16-30 – Jesus makes numerous claims in this passage. Write them down and discuss. What happens to those who hear the words of Jesus and believe?

October 15

Read John 5:31-47 – Who testifies on behalf of Jesus so that His testimony is valid? If we reject that which is true, what will we accept? Whose testimony do you believe?

Read John 14:1-14 – What claim is Jesus making in 14:6? What does the Son desire to bring to the Father? What do you desire to bring to the Father?

October 17

Read John 14:15-31 – First is loving Jesus, then obedience to His commands. If you love and obey, what will Jesus do for you? Write down all the references to love and obedience in this passage and pray for the Holy Spirit to speak into your heart about these things.

There are two final destinies. Read the following passages, identify the two destinies and determine which is yours. Luke 9:23-27; John 5:24-30; Romans 10:1-13.

Hear what the Bible has to say about Intentional Evangelism during the week. Jesus has something to say about the lessons we should learn. What are you learning from the Master?

Read John 3:1-21 – What references did Jesus make so that Nicodemus would relate well to what He was saying? Think about the educational and cultural background of Nicodemus. How does this help you when you are sharing Jesus with others?

Read John 3:22-36 – John was an evangelist, yet he was not angry that Jesus was baptizing many. Why? What can we learn from John’s response?

Read John 4:1-26 – Was Jesus direct in His approach with this woman? What is her response? Was Jesus hesitant in speaking the truth to her?

Read John 4:27-42 – Note the differences between Jesus’ care for the woman and that of His disciples. How does Jesus view the work He is doing for the Father? How do you view the work that Jesus has for you to glorify the Father

Read John 1:1-18 – Relationships open the door to evangelism. Discuss the relationships you see in this passage. Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Jesus and John the Baptist.

Read John 1:19-28. What does John share with the priests and Levites? What can you surmise about His relationship with them?

November 5

Read John 1:29-34. How does John view his relationship with Jesus? How do you see your relationship with Jesus?

November 6

Read John 1:35-42. Read this passage carefully. What can you learn from Jesus as to how He interacted and cared for His disciples?

Read John 1:43-51. What did Philip do after Jesus said, “Follow me.” What can you learn from his actions?

Read 1 John 1 – Write down all of the “if” statements in 1 John 1. Insert your own name where the word “we” appears. What have you learned from this passage?

Read 1 John 2 – Do you love things of this world? What things come from the Father?

Read 1 John 3 – Meditate on the love that the Father has lavished on you. Talk about them with your family. Thank and praise God for His lavish love. How do you know what love is according to 1 John 3:16?

Read 1 John 4 – What do those who are born of God do and know? What does perfect love do? What is the result of acknowledging that Jesus is the Son of God?

November 14

Read 1 John 5 – Love and obedience go together. How? Does your life reflect this direct relationship of love and obedience to God?
