Candidate for Children's Director
The Children’s Director Search Committee, along with the Elder Board, present Kim Goodnight as the candidate to fill the open Children’s Director position at Midland Free. We have scheduled a time for the congregation to meet our candidate, Kim Goodnight, Sunday, May 20, after the first service at the main Children’s BLAST entrance (in the north lobby) and after the second service in Room 309 in the adult wing of the church. Kim will be available to meet with people and address questions. Please join us if you are available.
The search committee enthusiastically recommends Kim Goodnight for the position of Children’s Director. Kim will be formally nominated for a membership vote at the annual business meeting to be held on Sunday, June 3, at 6:00 pm. Please feel free to contact any member of the Search Committee regarding Kim and her candidacy. The Committee also wants to express our sincere thanks for your steadfast prayers for us and our process as we worked together to find God’s person for this position. We encourage everyone to continue to pray for the Lord’s wisdom and guidance, and to specifically lift up Kim in these exciting days.
